Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass background check & drug screening

- Excellent attention to detail & accuracy in record keeping, data entry, & ticketing processes.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, co-workers, and supervision
- Proficiency in using computerized scalehouse systems, Microsoft Office, and CommandApex preferred
- Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively, using sound judgement and decisionmaking skills
Daily Duties
- Taking sand and gravel orders by phone and aiding customers with material selection, pricing, and scheduling.
- Entering accurate customer data, truck info, location, etc. into CommandApex for invoicing and record keeping purposes.
- Operate scalehouse equipment to accurately weigh trucks entering and leaving the quarry site, recording weights and issuing weigh tickets for each transaction.
- Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of trucks for loading and unloading, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of materials.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, truck drivers and other quarry visitors, answering inquiries, providing directions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of truck transactions, including weights, materials, destinations, delivery times, and cash/card payments.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or operational issues, taking corrective action as necessary to minimize disruptions to production.
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain awareness of potential hazards on-site and report any safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Provide administrative support to quarry management and other staff, including data entry, filing, copying, and other clerical tasks as needed.
