Required Qualifications

  • Ability to pass background check & drug screening


  • Flexibility to work extended hours & weekends


  • Commitment to safety


  • Strong knowledge of quarrying processes, equipment, and safety regulations


  • Experience operating and maintaining crushers, screens, conveyors, wash plant, and other quarry equipment


  • Welding experience preferred, but not required


  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks
  • Current MSHA certification


  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality control, and production


  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions


  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce


  • Effective communication skills and decision-making abilities

Daily Duties

  • Monitor quarry production to meet quality standards, production targets, and customer requirements.


  • Monitor and mentor quarry personnel as needed to meet safety, quality, and production goals, as well as customer requirements.


  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, work areas, and stockpiles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.


  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or mechanical issues, taking corrective action as necessary to minimize disruptions to production.


  • Conduct pre/post operational inspections of equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and repairs for all equipment as needed.


  • Conduct periodic sampling and testing of materials to verify quality and consistency.


  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure quality and efficiency.


  • Train and mentor equipment operators on safe and efficient operating practices.


  • Maintain awareness of potential hazards on-site and report any safety concerns to supervisors immediately.


  • Assist with site cleanup activities, including clearing debris, maintaining roads, and ensuring that work areas are clean and organized.


  • Collaborate with sales team to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
