Required Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures or willingness to learn


  • Current MSHA certification

Daily Duties

  • Assist in the daily operations necessary to keep the crusher running safely and efficiently, this could require flexibility in job roles daily.


  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks on crusher, including greasing, lubrication, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.


  • Keep crusher and quarry site clean and organized by removing debris, controlling dust, and preserving organized stockpiles.


  • Conduct pre/post-operational inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.


  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment (skid steers, water trucks, haul trucks, loaders, telehandlers, etc.) including regular cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.


  • Communicate effectively with dispatcher, supervisors, and site personnel to assist in directing customers to correct material locations and spotting for loader hand.


  • When necessary, assist in the manual loading of materials to crusher, and manual cleanup of crusher/belt overflow.


  • Maintain awareness of potential hazards on-site and report any safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
