Required Qualifications

  • Ability to pass background check & drug screening


  • Previous experience operating crushers in a quarry or similar environment


  • Flexibility to work extended hours & weekends


  • Ability to identify & troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or operational issues quickly & effectively


  • Commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


  • Strong understanding of crusher operation & the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on crushing equipment


  • Current MSHA certification


  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing on/off equipment and working in outdoor environments

Daily Duties

  • Operate and monitor crusher, conveyors, and related equipment to ensure proper operation and production of desired aggregate.


  • Control the flow of materials into the crusher, adjust settings to achieve desired product specs, and monitor material levels to maintain a consistent feed rate.


  • Inspect and evaluate raw materials and finished products for quality and consistency, adjusting as needed to maintain product specs.


  • Conduct pre/post-operational inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.


  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on crusher and related equipment, including greasing, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.


  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or operational issues, taking corrective action as necessary to minimize disruptions to production.


  • Communicate effectively with dispatcher, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure proper material inventory.


  • Assist with site cleanup activities, including clearing debris, maintaining roads, and ensuring that work areas are clean and organized.


  • Maintain awareness of potential hazards on-site and report any safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
