CDL Truck Driver

Pay Scale: Dependent Upon Experience

Work Hours: Dayshift | Varied Hours | Some OT

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License


  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening


  • Communication skills


  • Physically capable of climbing up and down ladders throughout the day


  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and occasional nights
  • Knowledge of concrete/aggregate industry is recommended but not required


  • Commitment to safety


  • General understanding of geographical locations or the ability to read maps


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Daily Duties

  • Operate and maintain company owned trucks in a safe and efficient manner.


  • Transport concrete/aggregate from the batch plant to various sites within designated routes and schedules.


  • Safely unload concrete/aggregate at sites, ensuring accuracy and quality.


  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating company trucks on public roads.


  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections of company trucks to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.


  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of company trucks, including regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.


  • Communicate effectively with dispatcher, supervisors, and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.


  • Follow established safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.


  • Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.


  • Provide exceptional customer service by always representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.



  • Assist with quality control checks and testing of concrete/aggregate products, including slump tests, air content tests, and sample collection to ensure compliance of quality standards and customer specs.
