CDL Truck Driver

Work Hours: Dayshift | Varied Hours | Some OT
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Communication skills
- Physically capable of climbing up and down ladders throughout the day
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and occasional nights
- Knowledge of concrete/aggregate industry is recommended but not required
- Commitment to safety
- General understanding of geographical locations or the ability to read maps
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Daily Duties
- Operate and maintain company owned trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport concrete/aggregate from the batch plant to various sites within designated routes and schedules.
- Safely unload concrete/aggregate at sites, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating company trucks on public roads.
- Conduct pre/post trip inspections of company trucks to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company trucks, including regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher, supervisors, and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.
- Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Provide exceptional customer service by always representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with quality control checks and testing of concrete/aggregate products, including slump tests, air content tests, and sample collection to ensure compliance of quality standards and customer specs.
